Gallery / Flaws

As this is an old van I stress it isn't perfect and to be as honest as possible, I've put together a gallery of it's flaws. These are areas that will require attention in the long run (most very minor). And some little areas of damage to the interior (chips). This is actually a pretty exhaustive list, so again what you see is what you get. Everything else is fine to excellent. A few hundred would put them all right. I was planning to have the van resprayed to make the couple of panels that don't match correct. I had quotes of 500gbp to 1200gbp. It would look truely perfect then and I'd be looking for a higher price but it looks very good already. My advice to a buyer would be to enjoy it for another this summer at least before bothering. It turns heads aplenty as it is.

I only discovered this today as I was looking the van over. It is by far the worst area on the van, some nasty rust here. I've resited the temptation to hide it with 'wads of filler', but have contacted the a restorer who can supply fit and colour match a new replacement door for around £500. I'd be happy to knock that off the total price. Though there is no imediate need to replace it as I didn't even know it was rusty. See nect pictire for all the that shows on the exterior. Incidently the driver door was rebuilt in this section when the van was restored a few years ago.
